You know that one of my passions is cook. How about making a delicious Honey Glazed Salmon with Pecan Crust? This recipe combines the richness of salmon with a sweet and nutty glaze. It's a perfect choice for a festive Christmas meal. Here's a simple recipe for you:

Honey Glazed Salmon with Pecan Crust

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the pecan crust: In a small bowl, mix the chopped pecans with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.

  3. Coat the salmon: Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush each fillet with the remaining olive oil and season with salt and black pepper. Press the pecan mixture onto the top of each salmon fillet, creating a crust.

  4. Prepare the glaze: In a separate bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, lemon juice, and minced garlic until well combined.

  5. Apply the glaze: Drizzle the honey glaze over the pecan-crusted salmon fillets, making sure to coat them evenly.

  6. Bake: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of your fillets.

  7. Garnish and serve: Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve the honey glazed salmon with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a green salad.
